Born in 1948 at the 'La Perrera' bar from members of the Anaitasuna football club; officially recognised June 1949. Peñas are lifelong membership clubs that animate Sanfermín with their own brass, bars, and colour-coded kits, then keep social life going the rest of the year from a permanent peña house.
