Club & Institute Union

Nationwide·United Kingdomest. 1862

A cooperative federation governed by its member social clubs, connecting working men's clubs and other community institutions across Britain. Local members gain reciprocal access to more than one thousand clubs, while elected delegates meet, vote, train and compete through regional branches and an annual assembly.

The union remains politically and religiously neutral, preserving the member-owned clubhouse model while providing shared representation, education and interclub events.
