DOROT Intergenerational Programs

Upper West Side·New York, NY·United States

A set of recurring groups where adults aged sixty-five and over and young volunteers form relationships through arts, conversation, chess and shared learning. Both age groups contribute time and perspective, with facilitated sessions available in Manhattan and through weekly online workshops.

Teen interns and older volunteers meet as participants in the same multigenerational community, and the program treats common ground rather than one-way assistance as its organizing principle.
