Ecstatic Dance Oakland
Oakland, CA·United States
A weekly freeform dance gathering where participants move barefoot without conversation, phones or prescribed steps. Opening and closing circles give the room a shared intention, while the recurring music-led practice lets regulars build connection without needing a conventional social script.
The Oakland gathering is part of the wider Ecstatic Dance community and follows its simple container of movement, consent and substance-free participation.
