London Sacred Harp
London·United Kingdom
An open, non-denominational group that sings Sacred Harp in London roughly once a week. Singers sit in a hollow square, learn the shape notes together and take turns choosing and leading songs, with no auditions, rehearsal or audience.
The group explicitly welcomes people of all faiths and none, including singers who cannot read conventional music. Everyone participates and the singing is for the people in the room.
