New-York Historical Society volunteer & member community
Upper West Side·New York·United Statesest. 1804
New York's oldest museum and research library, with member programmes, volunteer docents and public history events that form a standing community around local memory. Lectures, tours and volunteer shifts are the weekly belonging layer.
Big-city historical society with real volunteer pathways. Easier than founding a town museum from scratch.
