The Ashkenaz Foundation (Toronto folk dance hall)
Toronto venue and community hub for global and Jewish folk dance, concerts and workshops. Regular dance nights turn a concert hall into a participatory room where regulars and newcomers share circles and partner sets.
City-scale folk-dance room: easier on-ramp than a closed performing ensemble.

Other folk dance ensembles
A Bulgarian folklore dance ensemble whose members meet for weekly rehearsals, learn regional dances and prepare concerts together. The group treats performance as a way to carry Bulgarian music, costumes and stories into a welcoming extended family beyond the stage.
A weekly Balkan folk-dance circle that welcomes all experience levels to learn and lead line dances together by video. Participants request Bulgarian and other regional dances, practice familiar favorites and gradually take responsibility for leading or teaching the group.
