American Wine Society
A nonprofit network of local chapters whose members gather for monthly educational wine tastings. Volunteer chapter chairs choose themes, invite speakers and lead members through shared flights, while national conferences and courses connect the local tables into a wider community of wine learners.
The society reports more than six thousand members, with its recurring chapter tasting as the basic unit of participation rather than a one-time public festival.

Other wine, whisky & tasting societies
An international membership society organized around shared exploration of single-cask whisky. National branches and partner bars host guided tastings, member gatherings and local events, giving enthusiasts a recurring table and a common vocabulary for comparing regions, distilleries and casks.
A volunteer-run Champagne fellowship devoted to the culture of Champagne and the ceremonial art of opening a bottle with a sabre. Members gather through regional embassies, affiliated venues, inductions, tastings and gala chapters that turn a specialized ritual into an international social identity.
