Confrérie du Sabre d'Or
A volunteer-run Champagne fellowship devoted to the culture of Champagne and the ceremonial art of opening a bottle with a sabre. Members gather through regional embassies, affiliated venues, inductions, tastings and gala chapters that turn a specialized ritual into an international social identity.
The confrérie reports more than 2,700 members and 25 embassies across five continents, with public chapters continuing its shared ritual beyond France.
