Lajee Center Dabka Troupe
Aida refugee camp·Bethlehem·Palestineest. 2001
A Palestinian dabka program with weekly groups for children and young adults in Aida refugee camp. Members learn traditional steps, build performances around community stories and progress from beginner workshops into a long-standing troupe that performs locally and abroad.
The program reports fifty-five members aged five to twenty-five, with older dancers carrying years of shared practice and younger children entering through their own weekly group.
