Pledgeball League
A sports-based climate campaign where supporters choose practical environmental pledges and attribute the resulting estimated emissions savings to their club. Those contributions accumulate into a public league table, giving fan communities a shared sustainability score.
Clubs compete on the annual carbon savings pledged by their supporters. Dedicated fixtures and seasonal standings turn climate action into familiar club rivalry across professional, non-league and grassroots sport.
Fans strengthen their club's position by selecting individual actions, inviting others and taking part in club campaigns. A common badge and visible combined total let many small commitments become one collective result.
It translates an abstract climate measure into a score that existing communities already care about. The model is lightweight for participants, legible to clubs and adaptable to other identities with loyal local followings.
