Postcode Lottery × Strava 'Crowns for Causes' (Players Postcode Trust)
People's Postcode Lottery + Strava: Strava users earn 'Crowns' when they run/walk/cycle in their postcode area, unlocking £5M of charity funding distributed by postcode. Charities apply, residents 'vote' by working out locally.
Postcodes (UK postcode sectors) accumulate Crowns based on local Strava activity. Postcode areas effectively compete to unlock funding for their local charities. Leaderboard of postcodes drives funding distribution.
Residents of the same postcode work out together (or in parallel) for the same local charity outcome. Strong pride/identity hook (your postcode's charity gets funded). Charities promote it to mobilise local runners.
First time Strava itself has hosted a postcode-defined geographic competition with monetary stakes for the winning AREAS, not winning individuals. Sets a precedent BelongHub can reference for monetised neighbourhood-scale fitness.
