Walksy / WalkOff (fog-of-war walking games)
Your city map starts under a mist; every step clears fog around your GPS position and reveals streets, parks, and landmarks. Add friends, join/create guilds, fight guild territory wars over city sectors.
Guild territory wars carve the city into sectors that guilds claim and defend; leaderboards rank guilds by steps, distance, and sectors cleared. WalkOff has a near-identical mechanic.
Guild members coordinate which sectors to clear next, share fog-clearing routes, and rally around shared leaderboard standing. Social accountability inside the guild is the explicit design hook.
Combines a Disco Elysium-style 'reveal the city' aesthetic with explicit guild-vs-guild territory war - an under-the-radar variant of the territory-control genre that BelongHub almost certainly hasn't catalogued.

Stride: Walk, Run, Capture
Players track walks/runs and capture hexagonal tiles on a real-world map; rewards 'determination over speed' so consistency wins, not speed. Joins thousands of nearby players competing for city/town control.
Stridekick / Big Team Challenge / Step Count Challenge
Paths for All / Walking Scotland's national 4-week team walking challenge. Teams of 5 (workplaces, community groups, council departments) compete on cumulative steps.
